Mt. Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1300m)
Namaste & welcome to Mountainous country Nepal. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a representative from Adventure Specialist Travel(AST). After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our representative with a display bord with your name or Group leaders name at the arrival gate. You will be then transferred to Hotel. After check in, if time allows, you will visit AST office to meet your trekking leader as well as other participants and for final preparation for the trip. It all depends upon your arrival time. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
The day after breakfast we will start sightseeing tour with our professional tour guide to the several of most historical and spiritual Place in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered the World Heritage historic Sites such as Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. After come back from the tour there will be a pre-trip discussion with our trek leader and other team members and will brief you regarding your trek as well as we may have an opportunity to discuss any difficulties regarding our upcoming adventure. Rest of the time you could use for travelling around the Thamel and shopping of needed equipment and other necessaries. (Overnight at deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat (by bus) 8-9 hrs
We take an 8-9 hrs bus ride to Arughat Bazaar in Gorkha district. The village of Arughat is in two parts, on opposite sides of the Budhi Gandaki; Arughat Bazaar is clean and prosperous with hotels and shops selling cloth, food and hardware. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 04: Trek Arughat to Liding (860m) 5- 6 hrs
Trek route head to northwards following the Budi Gandaki River passing through terraced fields and scattered farmhouses. After climbing briefly to Keurenipani, we descend once again to the river and pass Seti Khola. Our camp is few villages further along at Liding after passing through a forest with several troops of monkeys. (Overnight at tent camp on full board basis)
Day 05: Trek Liding to Korlabesi (970m) 5-6 hrs
Today, the valley narrows and in places the path is cut into the densely forested valley side. We pass a number of small villages until the valley widens and the trail descends to the sandy riverbed. The trail climbs to Machha Khola and then on to our camp at Khorlabesi. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 06: Trek Korlabesi to Salleri (1360m) 5-6 hrs
At Tatopani there is hot spring where the porters will no doubt take the opportunity to have a quick wash. After Tatopani the trail crosses to the left bank of the Budi Gandaki over a suspension bridge. Through the forest we reach the village of Doban where we can watch the Budi Gandaki descends an impressive series of rapids and further up the river valley opens up. The camp for tonight is in the village of Salleri an hour or so beyond Jagat. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 07: Trek Salleri to Deng (1860m) 6-7 hrs
After village of Sirdibas we cross the Budi Gandaki on a large suspension bridge and climb steeply to Philim. The trail traverses the hillside and passes Ekle Bhatti (lonely tea house) before crossing back over the river below the confluence of Budi Gandaki and Siyar Khola. From here we enter a dramatic section of the gorge high above the river. The trail makes its way up the west side of the valley and offers a pleasant walk through bamboo forests to the village of Deng. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 08: Trek Deng to Ghap (2380m) 3-4 hrs
Today, the trek will be shorter day than other day we enter the area influenced by Buddhism. After a few more ups and downs through forests, the trail turns a corner and arrives at Ghap through well preserved paintings and elegant Mani wall. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 09: Trek Ghap to Lho (3180m) 4-5 hrs
The valley becomes steeper and there is a long climb through bamboo and rhododendron forest to the village of Namrung. The trail now enters the Nupri region. The people are descendants of Tibetan migrants who arrived over 500 years ago. Typical Tibetan features include the entrance gates to the villages, Mani walls and Buddhist Gompas. Beyond here the valley opens out and soon passes through the Tibetan village of Sho. Above this village we get views of Manaslu and Naike Peak and from the next village of Lho (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 10: Trek Lho to Samagaon (3450m) 5-6 hrs
From Lho, we follow the right bank of the river with views of Peak 29 ahead. A couple of hours climbing through the forest bring us to the village of Shyala, offering superb views of Phungi, Manaslu and Him Chuli. Crossing a wide pasture with many marmots we enter the village of Samagaon. Our camp is at the top end of the village below the impressive Sama Gompa with impressive views of Manaslu.
Day 11: Acclimatization day at Samagaon
The nearby monastery is well worth a visit, as is the village of Samagaun. This is a great day exploring the areas and with a great views around. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 12: Trek Samagaun to Samdo (3860m) 3-4 hrs
Follow the Budi Gandaki northwards to a bridge over a side stream where the trail forks; the left leading towards the Manaslu Base Camp, the other passing several Mani walls heads for the Larkya La. The valley widens along an easy trail past juniper and birch forest to the stone huts at Kermo Kharka, and then drops off a shelf to cross a wooden bridge and climbing between forks in the river to a promontory. We can see one amazing white stone \Kani marking the entrance to Samdo. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 13: Trek Samdo to Larkya Phedi (4460m) 3-4 hrs
Today we start the ascent to the pass by downhill through fields to an old Mani wall and stone arch before dropping to the river and crossing on a wooden bridge. This place shows up on maps as the mythical Larka Bazaar, which used to be a flourishing market. Another Mani wall marks the beginning of ascent to the pass where the trail starts climbing through tundra and juniper; the huge Larkya Glacier coming from Manaslu can be seen from here. Day 14: Cross the Larkya La (5135m) trek to Bimtang (3590m) 7-8 hrs
After an early start, we soon reach the ablation valley on the left side of the Larkya Glacier with impressive views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. We continue walking along glacial moraine and start making the gradual ascent to the summit of the Larkya pass. From the top, there is a panorama view of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru and Annapurna II. On the descent the trail follows the top of the moraine to the west and makes a set of steep, rough switchbacks as it crosses the moraine then descends more gently on snow to a grassy moraine. The valley becomes wider as the trails heads down to a large meadow, past a Mani wall and a small rest house that marks Bimthang. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 15: Trek Bimtang to Tilje (2300m) 5-6 hrs
After crossing the pastures of Bimthang the trail drops to a glacial stream at the headwaters of the Dudh Khola, crosses a wooden bridge and descends into pine and rhododendron forest. Not far from here you reach Karche's fenced fields, then cross a landslide before making a steep climb to a ridge decorated with prayer flags before making a descent to the river bank at Gho. The trail continues through fields and intermittent stands of rhododendron and oak to arrive large Gurung village at Tilje (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 16: Trek Tilje to Chamje (1430m) 5-6 hrs
Exit the village through a stone arch, cross the Dudh Khola and follow along its embankment descending through scrub forest. The walls of the Marsyangdi Valley loom larger and finally the houses of Dharapani appear in the distance. Pass through Thonje via a wooden bridge and through a shorten-shaped arch and Dharapani lies across a long suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi. The trail now follows the Annapurna Circuit route in reverse as you pass through the steepest part of the Marsyangdi gorge. (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 17: Trek Chamje to Nyagdi (920m) 5-6 hrs
Today we trek downstream follow the Marshyangdi river passing though the Tal and Chamje village with few steps up and down hill through the river deep gorge and brings you at Nyagdi village, (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 18: Trek Nyagdi to Khudi (790m) 5-6 hrs
We trek to the Khudi village after our long trekking. This is great place to stay and scenic view of Mt. Manasalu close to your eyes, rest and relax at camp (Overnight at tend camp on full board basis)
Day 19: Drive Khudi to Kathmandu, 7-8 hrs
Today, we drive back to Kathmandu through the scenic view of the countryside and passing through headquarter of the Lamjung called Besishahar which is a starting point of Annapurna Circuit trek. We back to Kathmandu and take a rest and be relax (Overnight deluxe hotel on BB basis)
Day 20: Leisure at Kathmandu
Today is your leisure day, if interested you could buy some gifts from Nepal for your friends and relatives, you will visit some nearby shops or venture at Thamel for typical Nepalese goods which can be assisted by our guides or you can do it yourself too. If enthralled to explore some other areas of Kathmandu you could take some more time to do that today! Remember, we will be hosting a fantastic celebration "Farewell dinner" at traditional Nepalese restaurant with Mountain Guide Trek staffs for successful completion of the Manaslu Larkya La Pass Circuit Trek! Day 21: Farewell Friend (Final departure to your onward destination)
Today is last day in Nepal for this trip; you are saying good bye to the mountains as journey in Nepal comes to an end today. If you have more time you can do some shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight a representative from AST will take you to the airport or you can spare some qualities of days inside nepal/Bhutan/Myanmar/Tibet/Sikkim.
